First, You did great on your review article. Second, Personally, Maureen is one of my favorite character clay artists. Hers are the first books I purchased when I was first starting out clay crafting two years ago now. I even have her childrens books and some of her clay molds. Like you I researched and read several books before I purchased any equiptment, tools or clay. What caught my interest the most in her books is she takes the time to explain and include photos so you know what your doing. There are many styles of sculpting with clay and for beginners I think her books are best ones to start out with for the character style.

Clay work can become an expensive hobby if you let it and it is best to know what you are getting into. However,in the end it is one of those crafts that lets you release your inner creativity to take flight from a child like piece to a beautiful sculpture.</description>
